Designing innovation.
“Great innovation requires three things: ideas, creative people and a place.”
—Dwain Cox, Chick-fil-A
An 80,000 square foot place, to be exact. A place where ideas come to life. A place where it's safe to spill paint on the ground. A place to inspire innovation at Chick-fil-A.
We were brought to the table to create a name and visual identity unique to Chick-fil-A, but with its own charm that would stand out on the corporate campus.
See what we did there? (They sell chicken.)
The innovation arrow represents the mantra “toward better things.” (And it’s a tiny beak.)
A simple, meaningful shape that can be applied in many different ways.
Dwain Cox, Director of Innovation, Chick-fil-AUltimately, we ended up with a great name and visual identity, but what really impressed us was the process that Matchstic took us through to get to that name and visual. It really was the experience working with the Matchstic people that will stick with me the most. They made us feel like we were their only client.
