International Justice Mission is the largest anti-human trafficking organization in the world. Led by their Christian faith and a belief that all people should be free, they tirelessly work to combat slavery across the continents.
After 20 years of fighting for freedom, IJM wanted to celebrate their wins with a momentous gathering—and they asked us to help by developing a fitting name and identity. The name needed to convey the harsh realities of what they do, while also leaving room for celebration.
With the goal of getting 5,000 attendees, we were also tasked with holding the same somber, yet celebratory line in our identity: getting people excited about the event, while giving them a bold call to action.

As part of Liberate, we designed a powerful tool – the Party Rescue Kit – that shows attendees how to galvanize their community against global human trafficking.
