WinShape Camps
Intro
Camp your heart out
WinShape Camps creates next-level experiences for 40,000 campers and their families each year. With so many summers to make, they were looking for the right way to tell their story.
After interviewing camper families & staff, reviewing their existing research, and a few Kumbaya sessions, we honed in on what made them different: Over-the-Top Intentionality
We then set out to create an identity system that was equally intentional. The existing WinShape Camps flag logo inspired a series of angles and movement throughout the visual system.
To pair with the red in the mark, we curated a supporting palette of bright hues and added a friendly display typeface.
We also illustrated an icon style for camp activities, skill-building opportunities and fun things kids at learn at camp. Styled after merit badges, the circular icons are made unique with the addition of halftone shading.

There were several changes we put in place that helped us achieve this number, but we believe the work with Matchstic established a clear foundation for the initiatives that we were improving on.
