“Success with dyslexia
starts here.”Swift School is for students, 1st thru 6th grades, with dyslexia and other language-based learning differences. In 2008, Swift School celebrated its Ten Year Anniversary. With a new building, an energized staff and 120 succeeding students, it was time to start telling their great story to the city of Atlanta.

Challenge
Few knew about Swift School. Public awareness of the brand was extremely low. Even in the learning disability community their success story was going unheard.
We needed to dig deep and reveal the heart of Swift School. Make known their cause. Show parents, teachers, staff, children and the rest of Atlanta what makes Swift School so great.

Solution
For ten years Swift School has been a place of hope to children and families dealing with dyslexia. Revealing the hidden potential in each child, believing that potential is more powerful than dyslexia.
This became the strategy for the Swift School brand. Hope for success with dyslexia. This is visualized in the logo, the star is a symbol for dreams (hope) and achievement (success). The shape also reveals an ‘S’, suggesting hidden potential.

Results
We joined forces with the Swift School in 2009 as part of our On The House Project to give them a complete brand identity overhaul. When we first heard their story the school was on a downward slope with only 109 students with a decline rate of 38% and serious financial turmoil. Shortly after launching the new brand identity the school grew to 130 students and successfully recruited a new top notch head of the school from Florida the year after.
Today, just two years later, the school is maxed out at 160 students with a waiting list and an expansion into the 7th grade (and plans to open an 8th grade next year). The school has reached financial stability and more importantly increased capacity to better educate kids with dyslexia.
