Sixthman, a 7+ year client of ours, is an affinity travel company that creates unique experiences by bringing together like-minded people in exclusive, interactive and intimate environments. They harness the power of community by embracing pioneering spirits and creating authentic connections between artists and fans living out their rally cry, "Live loud!".

Challenge
Sixthman produces 10+ cruise events per year. Our challenge was to create a unique identity for each event that engages the fan base and is flexible enough to reinvent itself every year but still consistent and on brand.

Primary Identity for The Rock 2010

Solution
Our team has helped create 15+ unique campaigns look and feels as well as foundational brandmarks for the two legacy events The Rock Boat and Cayamo. We also helped with the naming and campaign developement of the VH1 event that was originally slated to be called “Wavefest” but came alongside Sixthman and VH1 to name it “Best Cruise Ever” to better fit underneath the VH1 parent brand. Also featured are a host of other events we have helped develop over the years including the Barenaked Ladies’ Ships n’ Dip Cruise and the Elvis Cruise.

Results
The Sixthman tribe has continued to grow, expanding from The Rock Boat to some 9 annual cruises – each with their own unique experience and audience. The Rock Boat continues to sell out every year, as do many of the other events. In the last year alone their online sales have increased 65% and their site visits have increased to average in the hundreds of thousands. Sixthman continues to attract new talent and partners, working with some of the largest and best names in the music industry.
By developing a predictable process of creating the event brands, Sixthman was able to drastically reduce the amount of down time from concept to on-sale without sacrificing the reputation of a Sixthman event.
