“Buy a net. Save a life.”
"If you think you're too small to make a difference, try sleeping in a room with a mosquito." Mosquitoes carry malaria - a tropical disease that kills over 750,000 children each year. That's one child every 30 seconds.
The BITE BACK campaign is mobilizing youth around the country to provide mosquito nets to protect children from malaria. To inspire and equip a generation to end malaria.

Solution
To “bite back” is an action statement. And a powerful one at that. Perfect for a movement out to fight malaria. Movements are often visualized with the proverbial raised fist. This image became the starting point visually for the identity. It gave it a raw attitude. All we needed to do was give it a reason to be raised.
A piece of rolled mosquito net made a sweet bracelet for kids to purchase for $10 and supply a net to someone in need in Africa. “Buy a net. Save a Life.” became the rally cry for the campaign. It was simple, direct and tangible.

Results
With over 23,000 nets purchased and hundreds of thousands of dollars raised, this has been one of the most successful campaigns Compassion International has run outside of its child sponsorship program. The BiteBack campaign tshirt alone was their best selling shirt to date and sold out in two days what they had expected to take months – a record for the non-profit. More importantly, those thousands of nets purchased and dollars raised represent thousands of lives spared from the threat of malaria.
