Matchstic Team: Upgraded

Posted by Craig Johnson on July 27, 2011 Share

Our team has changed a good bit over the past year and it's about time we update our website accordingly.

To many of you this is old news, but our team has expanded quite a bit.  Pictured above from left to right is Alana Dy, Staci Janik and Becky O'Mara.  You've seen these ladies post blogs here from time to time, but we finally got around to getting them officially setup on the blog and putting their bios on our website.

Alana Dy came to Matchstic as a design intern in September last year and we quickly did whatever we could to keep her around.  Alana was named featured in CMYK Magazine as one of the countries' top new creatives to watch.  She is also known for instituting Matchstic Family Lunch for which we are all very thankful.

We are always on the look for design talent, so when we met Staci Janik last November we worked hard to find a place for her.  She worked as a contractor for a few months and then came on as a full time member this February.  Staci wins the prize for most interesting career path as she pursued a nursing degree, worked in eye surgery and eventually studied design at the Creative Circus, where she now teaches Typography.

Becky O'Mara joined our team this past February as well as project manager.  It's her job to manage production schedules, project timelines, and pretty much keep everyone happy. When she's not at Matchstic, Becky runs Beltline Bike Shop, an incredible non-profit in Atlanta.  If you don't know of it already, you will soon be hearing more about as we selected them as our 2011 On the House project.

We're thrilled to have Alana, Staci and Becky at Matchstic and hope you get the opportunity to interact with them in the near future.
