Meet Craig.
What does Matchstic mean to you?
The ability to build a company without a boss having to agree with my thinking and philosophies. I’m continually amazed by the talented and passionate people here. I would put our team against any other with complete confidence.
How did you get here?
I needed a job so I helped start a company.
What keeps you coming to work everyday?
I love helping people find clarity and pursue their passions within their company. That goes for clients as well as the folks at Matchstic. It’s also a lot of fun because it feels like starting new companies every week.
How do you drink your coffee?
I made the switch to black coffee a few months ago after ten years of way too much cream and Splenda.
What books do you recommend? Why?
Anything by Chip & Dan Heath, Seth Godin, and Malcolm Gladwell. I enjoy books that don’t necessarily give me tangible things to do, but rather reshape the way I think and see the world ( the whole “teach a man to fish” idea).
What websites do you visit regularly?
ESPN, Twitter, NFL, and ActionMethod.
What is your source for inspiration?
Books, conversations with friends and mentors, Fast Company, Harvard Business Review, and my Twitter stream.
Describe something you can't live without.
Action Method. It's the only thing that has been able to keep me organized. I’ve had it for a year now and it changed my life.
Where is your favorite place in Atlanta?
Home. I love getting there everyday and seeing my wife and my boys.
Random unknown fact about yourself?
During college when I was in a rock band, I organized an eleven-city tour of Slovakia. Such a blast.
