The Cost of Focus

Posted by Craig Johnson on August 11, 2010 Share

What does it cost you to focus on that which makes you the best in the world?

• You lose hours sweating over how to serve each customer differently.

• Your meetings run faster because everyone is on the same page about what you're doing.

• The guessing game of which customer you're talking about goes away.

• Sales and Marketing are streamlined into one consistent message versus many different ones.

• The internal rally cry for your staff is no longer long and impossible to remember.

• Finding employees to fit the culture is easier because it naturally attracts those great people that were once hard to recruit.

Or then again, you could stay unfocused.
