I found this article today about a new innovative web browser developed by Google called Chrome. Google says its intent is to “drive the whole web platform forward". I'm curious to see if this will be the case. The overall browser design has not really changed much over time, however web content has. Suppose we started from scratch and developed a browser for 2008 instead of 1998. How could it function differently? I love the attempt to reinvent. There is always room for improvement. If Chrome is not the end all, be all of web browsers thats o.k. It will be a stepping stone to what's next.
