Blake W. Howard, a Nashville, Tennessee native, and University of Tennessee graduate, is the creative director and co-founder of Matchstic that he started at the age of 23. He leads the creative team with responsibilities in brand strategy and identity, art direction, and client presentations; as well as executing award-winning design. From a long lineage of entrepreneurs, Howard has helped build a smart, enthusiastic, courageous firm, with national recognition, that has served clients like Chick-fil-A, VH1, ESPN, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, and Compassion International. He speaks nationally on the subject of branding for business results, design thinking, and leading creative teams, including the nation’s largest conference for graphic designers, The HOW Design Conference.
Blake has shown tremendous commitment to his community by pioneering the development of Matchstic’s On The House program which has helped give away over $250,000 in estimated services in three years to local non-profits. He was also named Top 40 Under 40 Business Leaders in Atlanta by The Atlanta Business Chronicle, making him one of the youngest members of the Top 40 club.
